LNK-IMC10G-SFP+ is a mini industrial 10G media converter. It is equipped with 1 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G BASE-T adaptive RJ45 electrical ports and 1 10G BASE-X SFP+ optical port. This 10G Media Converter adopts an IP40 aluminum dust-proof housing and redundant wide-voltage power supply design.

It can complete the lossless conversion of electrical signals and optical signals in extreme industrial environments, achieving 10G bandwidth non-blocking line-speed transmission.

Core Working Principle

The equipment adopts a store-and-forward processing mechanism. When the electrical port receives the Ethernet signal from the copper cable, 10G Media Converter is processed by the chip for rate negotiation, data verification and protocol conversion, converting the electrical signal into an optical signal and transmitting it through the SFP+ optical port;

When the optical port receives the optical signal, 10G Media Converter automatically converts it back into an electrical signal, automatically adapting to the full-rate range from 100M to 10G, half/half-duplex mode, achieving seamless connection between the copper cable and optical fiber media, with no packet loss and low latency throughout the process.

Installation and Usage

• Power Supply: Connect to a 12-48VDC redundant terminal power supply. It supports reverse connection protection and automatic reset in case of overload;

• Wiring: The Ethernet port connects to Cat6A or higher network cables (up to 100 meters), and the optical port inserts the corresponding SFP+ module;
